My Random Friday Post!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently...I have had a busy few weeks with back to University and the launch of Fashion Franks new collection! However I thought I would show you guys my recent obsession...

I absolutely adore what my step-dad calls the "Punk Look" which I sometimes wonder if I really suit however I don't give a [Phoebe from Friends] "TINY RATS ASS!"...

I loveeeee this outfit...so simple to put on together and head out to work or for dinner and drinks!

PS. my face isn't in this post because I put fake tan on my face so I look tanned at the weekend and I look a tad like an oompalumpa...but don't worry I'm going home to wash it off!

House party outfit...casual or fancy?!

Hope you beauties have had a fabby weekend! Can't believe its Monday already... weeknds go far too fast! I have decided that we should all organise a petition to be signed so that we are all entitled to Mondays off because they are just horrid...

Nevertheless as promised I have showcased my new purchases at the weekend to show you guys! I was attending one of my bezza pals Danielle's "team" house party on Friday night. It suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't been to a house party in yearssssss and I wasn't sure what the kids wear these days...

I decided to go for this tshirt and leather skirt combo. I like how the skirt is high waisted and wanted to show off the studs so I rolled this baggy tshirt up into a crop top to give it a different look. I teamed it with my spike bangle (my trusty - stuck to my arm I swear) and my Litas to give it the cutesy punk look. Nobody really seen the shoes though cos its off with theshoes and party time but hey...the wee shop man liked them:) hehe! I love this outfit and I think its perfect for a house party...not too fancy yet not too casual! What ya think?

Ps...I managed to sell my Vivienne Westwood bag that I advertised on here a few weeks back! Hoooorayyy! So I have ordered my camera and can't wait to use it and start blogging with it...sick of these posing in the mirror pictures hehe!

The Collection is ready!

This week has been a crazy one. Firstly I was back to University for the beginning of my final year...it's scary to think that I will be graduating in eight months time...me.. graduating...is this for real?! Haha!

As well as this it is all go at my work, Fashion Frank. For the last three months we have been organising the launch of our very own collection. It is something that my boss Julia has been wanting to do for a while now and I cannot believe it is now about to be launched!

It all began with advertising for a designer, and after interviewing for one, we found our lovely Megan. Along with her came Sophie who was our fashion intern for the summer. Both of them were able to collaborate with Julia and come up with amazing designs for the new collection.

After long discussions with myself and Julia we decided on the name BLUNT. We came up with the idea after discussing that Fashion Frank was about being "frank" with your fashion and making a statement. It then suddenly dawned on us that to be BLUNT about your style is to be uncompromisingly forthright with your fashion. We both thought that Frank and BLUNT really complimented each other and heyyy presssstooo that was the name of the collection decided. 

After many weeks of hard work and preparation the launch of our new collection has finally arrived and will be available for you to buy this Sunday (the 23rd of September)!!

At the weekend the fabulous Fashion Frank shoot took place for their new collection and I was one of the models! What a fabulous team we had and we managed to create some gorgeous photographs!....

Stacey Leigh Spalding is one of my best friends so it may seem biased however she is one of the most amazing makeup artist I have ever worked with. She has worked with people such as Obscure Couture, BBC and is about to be a makeup artist for Mrs Browns Boys! Just to name a few;) She is available for bookings so please have a cheeky look at her facebook! <3

Allana Murphy is a successful Hairdresser and Business woman and worked her magic on my normally flat lifeless hair and wowzaaaa what a result! I wish I could have her at my beck and call for my nights out!

The outfit though...OMG! I am in loveeeeeeeee! As you can see it is souch a gorgeous piece and is sooo flattering on! I hope you love it as much as I do!

Well it's that time of year again when everyone's student loans and bursaries are dished out! Mine on the other hand wasn't that impressive however it didn't stop me from spending it on some scholarly items. NAHHTTTT...I went on a shopping spree of course!!

As you may see..I had to stick to a budget, hence the reason I have been buying quite a lot from eBay but my goodness they are awesome wee bargains! Especially the Boy London top as it is an exact replica of the real one....heyyy afterall we are students!

My Glamorous disco pants arrived today and they are amazing! Almost the exact same as the American Apparel disco pants! However I did find that they are slightly baggy around the ankles unlike the AA ones! Still hot though!

The rest of the items don't arrive for a few days so as soon as they do I will be sure to photograph myself in them to show ya!

PS I just discovered that Topshop is not holding their annual Student Shop in Scotland this year.....absolute rageeeee! I rather enjoy the annual 20% off event and I am seriously disappointed that they have not organised one! Hopefully it changes....check to see if your store is listed HERE!

Anyhooo I am away back to do some University work...sad times!

This is my favourite song right now....it totally reminds me of Creamfields..one of the best weekends of my year, year in year out! However it's the vocals that do it for me.....it's so true...these years that I have as a student  probably will " be the years!"

Vivienne Westwood Bag for Sale!

I have come to the very hard decision that I would like to sell my Vivienne Westwood bag...I got it for my 21st from my best friends however I no longer use it and I don't like to see it go to waste! Therefore I am going to invest the money I get from selling it in a new camera to take blogging photographs for you guys!

This is a Vivienne Westwood Chancery bag in purple! It is 100% authentic and as you can see it is in excellent condition apart from the feet have a few scuffs on them and the inside material is slightly discoloured. I unfortunately don't have the dust bag as I didn't think I would ever sell it!

This bag is still available in Urban Outfitters for £239 therefore I am looking for £165 or the nearest reasonable offer.

One word....BLUNT!

4 days until the launch of Fashion Frank's new collection ...B L U N T! I cannot wait for you guys to see the new collection in our fabulous new Lookbook collection...it is one word...AWESOME!...Here is a sneek preview of one of the pieces...I couldn't resist getting a quick photograph of me in it to show you guys!!

 

I love this colour, it is so different and not one that I would immediately go for but it is the perfect statement colour for winter or summer! It is a gorgeous material and hangs very flatteringly.

6 Days to go....

Firstly, whilst writing this we are sitting in the office discussing where we were when the terrible tragedy of 9/11 happened. I cannot believe it was 11 years ago, it seems almost like yesterday when I was sitting in my History class at school and we were told about it. To this day I still cannot believe it has happened and my heart goes out to all those survivors and families of victims that were affected by this awful day.

On a brighter note hehe.....it is only 6 days until the new collection BLUNT at my work Fashion Frank is released. We are shooting the Lookbook for the collection this week and I cannot wait to show you guys the new pieces...they are just amazingggg!!

For the meantime I have a few snaps of a new arrival at Fashion Frank and it is absolutely my style. I love anything feminine and girlie and this completely describes this.....

This dress is very flattering because of the v-neckline at the back and front giving a slight amount of cleavage but not too much! It has small shoulder pads to accentuate the feminine shape along with the peplum skirt...it looks so classy! 

The sequins gives it that extra touch of glamour that is ideal for a night out!

Red Alert Disco Pants

Today I have had a very different day at work to normal! We have all been mucking in with the cleaning and rearranging my work's new premises. It is strange going to work in hoodies and leggings...not used to dressing down but it sure it comfy!! hehe!

We had another photoshoot with some more of Fashion Frank's new stock. I am wearing my trusty denim jacket with the pleather sleeves as it goes with absolutely everything...even red leggings!!

I am really all for disco pant style leggings at the moment...especially high waisted numbers as they are quite flattering on if styled with the right piece of clothing. I would always wear them with heels as it lengthens my legs and stops them looking like red tree trunks. I would then wear it with either a bodysuit or crop top as it really sets off the high waisted style of the leggings!

This colour of red is gorgeous and it makes a nice change to my typical black leggings that I never have off! 

Great for a pop of colour!! :)

Ombre Hair...in or out?

It has come to that time of year, at the end of the summer...when my hair has went blonder or should I say "yellower" with the sun and I contemplate with the idea of going ...darker for the winter?!

Every year I come to the same conclusion..."NO just go two shades darker blonde" -and that's as far as I will go...however this year I fancy a change....

I would definitely not go dark...as I have naturally blonde hair and the blonde roots coming through dark hair really isn't a great look. However I was contemplating trying the "Ombre" style hair so I could get the best of both worlds. For those of you who aren't sure what it's like...it's a gradual change in colour from dark to light basically looking as though you are needing your hair done and have massive roots. It has appeared in all the fashion magazines and to be quite frank I personally think there is something quite hot about it...

I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to the hairdressers....and change is a big thing for me but I am seriously considering getting this done...is it fashionable or is it ewwww look at thoses roots?!

Studio 17

Today my fellow work team and I made our way down to our new Studio where our Fashion Frank headquarters will be shortly opening. I could honestly say I may pee my pants with excitement when it opens! It is gonna look freeeeeeking awesome!

At the moment however, it is more or less in the middle of getting cleared out so we decided to take some bitchin' photos of our new gear outside in amongst the wilderness and with "props" hehe! 

I personally love having a shoot outside because it's like having a professional wind machine at your fingertips hahaha!

I absolutely adore this jacket and leggings combo...I technically wouldn't wear it with this crop top out and about with these leggings but I think it's a super cute combo!

Rock Chick Rockinnnnn'

It has finally hit me....summer is overrrrrr! Noooo:(....I received a notification that my university timetable is available for me to pick my modules for my final year....(for those of you who don't know - I am going into my honors year of my psychology degree!) wahhhh!!

Sooo... I thought since I only have two weeks left of my last ever "summer" I decided to party it up all weekend! It was one of my friends birthday nights out on Friday...my girlfriends and I set of to Edinburgh for some cocktails and dancing! My photos from that night are stinking so I will wait and see if any of my chums have nicer ones to show ya hehe!

On the Saturday I went to a monthly event that I attend "What the Funk" at my local bar where it is absolutely rammed and has amazing music! Was a very messy night and it was sooo good to see everyone!

Here is what I wore...

Thanks to my lovely boss Julia, she allowed me to borrow this gorge dress for the weekend! For once I was trying to watch my cash and not buy something new and this was just perfect! I wanted something that wasn't too clingy and was comfortable. This dress was exactly that! The top half was fitted and had cute studding detail to it and the skirt was a shiny material (almost leather effect) that hung perfectly!

I did on the other hand buy these new shoes as they were a bargain at £29.99 from Garage! They are super high and are extra comfy as they have a strap across the front that help to keep your feet in the shoe (needed if alcohol is involved) hehe!

I teamed it with my favourite accessories and of course my trusty leather jacket to give it a funky rock chick look! Ohhh I also added dark lipstick and black liner (I normally stay more neutral) to add to this effect and wahlaaaa...!
